How much can I earn as a Sierra Trading Post Affiliate?

Sierra Trading Post pays 5% commission on all products and offers fourteen return days. Commissions are paid based on the amount of the purchase (excluding any applicable taxes and shipping charges) for all credit card transactions. If a user returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction. However, your commission will not be affected if a product is returned in exchange for new merchandise, or if goods are lost or damaged and we ship replacement goods to the customer. You can earn as much as you want – it all depends on how many orders you can drive!

How does Sierra Trading Post pay commissions?

Sierra Trading Post pays commissions monthly for amounts of $25 or more earned during the month. If the minimum of $25 is not reached in any month, commissions will accrue until you reach $25. You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes for the commissions you receive. Sierra Trading Post pays its affiliates through our networks; LinkShare, Commission Junction and Avantlink.

What link materials will Sierra Trading Post provide me?

Sierra Trading Post will supply targeted, fully produced image text links and banner ads in a variety of sizes to all of our networks. Choose the ones that you think will appeal to your visitors the most, then download and place them on your site. We will update the material frequently so that you always have a great selection of fresh ads with our latest offers and promotions. As a Sierra Trading Post affiliate, you will have access to all of the reporting capabilities available through your respective network. These reports detail your sales and referrals and are available at any time.

Yes. Sierra Trading Post welcomes not-for-profit sites and appreciates the opportunity to support any cause that aligns with our company image, morals, and values.

Is my site eligible to become a Sierra Trading Post Affiliate partner?

Sierra Trading Post reviews each application carefully. We reserve the right to reject or remove sites at any time for any reason. To learn more about the criteria we use for approving affiliates, please read the affiliate agreement in your network interface. You must also remain in compliance with our terms of service.

How do I become a Sierra Trading Post affiliate?

Initially, you must read the terms of service. Then, complete and submit the registration form. Sierra Trading Post will notify you within 48 business hours of our evaluation and approval of your site. Once approved, you will receive information on how to obtain the graphic and textual materials available to you. Simply place the links and ads on your site and you’re ready to begin earning commissions from your referrals. *NOTE – if you are already an affiliate of the respective network, you do not need to fill out the registration form on our website.
