Yahoo Specific Guidelines
Yahoo has a unique system that will sometimes display an ad
for your site even if you are not bidding on our trademarked
terms! In order for this to happen, you must have a keyword
bidding account with them, and so we request that if you are
engaged in any type of keyword bidding on Yahoo, to please manually
exclude the terms below in order to avoid the aforementioned
scenario from happening. Here are some detailed instructions
on how you can do this quickly and easily:
- Click “Managed Sponsored Search” tab (located at the top of the page)
- Then go into “Manage Listings” option (located below top tabs)
- Display terms with Sierra, Seirra, Siera, Seira (each has to be pulled separately)
- Select keywords and click “Match Type Options”
- Enter the below list of words in the “Excluded Words” box on the right side of the popup
- Then hit submit to activate the exclusions
