Datafeed Customization Instructions

  1. Unzip the file.
  2. Open with a text-editor (Notepad, Wordpad – wordpad has a much faster “find and replace” function than notepad)
  3. Open your “find and replace” tool (CTRL+H on Windows PCs)
  4. Search for [SITE.CODE]
  5. Replace with your encrypted affiliate ID.
    1. To get this, look at one of your existing Linkshare links, or create a new one, and look for something that looks like this in the code:
      http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/stat?id=WE7wJezu2qQ&offerid=7097
    2. The highlighted text above is what your encrypted affiliate ID should look like.
  6. Save the file.
  7. The feed is now in the exact same form that it would be in had you received it directly from Linkshare.
